File under : perpetuating more Final Cut Pro update rumors

If you were totally staying away from the Twitter or the blogs for the last few days then you might not know about the rumors swirling around that Apple might be ready to release a new version of Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Studio, just in time for NAB. There’s always a lot of discussion on this. Some think that Final Cut Pro is being re-written to take advantage of the upcoming Snow Leopard OSX update so it wouldn’t make sense to release a new version before that. Others think that since FCP’s 10 year anniversary is near and Apple is usually on a two year cycle with the video Pro Apps then getting an NAB timeframe update makes sense this year. No one really knows except Apple so I’m just here to pass the rumors along. That’s part of what blogs are for! I’ve already said what I think will happen with FCP and NAB this year.
