Root6 ContentAgent Makes Posting Origin Material a Snap

The Dalsa Origin 4K camera has always intrigued and terrified potential users. While they may drool at capturing pristine 4K images, they also have cringed at the thought of dealing with a 4K workflow. At NAB 2006, a number of third party vendors showed products that make 4K workflow a real possibility. Root6's Content Agent allows for the quick creation of low-res proxies for a variety of post production applications like on-set color-correction, digital dailies and editing.

At NAB, Root6 showed the system transcoding 2K and 4K DPX files into commonly used file formats, such as Avid MXF, with data burn-in from the DPX header as an option. That means it can be used as an efficient way to get data out of cameras such as the Dalsa Origin and into a facility's systems in a format that those systems understand.
