Pablo will provide Cinecitta Digital with a real-time 4K workflow and will be the hub for the company's entire DI operation. The Pablo was purchased from Quantel's Italian distributor, Video System Engineering.
Iridas announced that Galerie der Medien has purchased FrameCycler DI for its Munich facility. FrameCycler DI provides review of uncompressed frames, conform, primary color-correction, and ReviewLink, Iridas' new remote-collaboration technology. With the new application, Galerie der Medien is able to conduct interactive reviews of work-in-progress at any point in the pipeline.
Norwegian company Cinevation AS, which manufactures real-time film recording and direct-to-print solutions, announced that Nordisk Film Post Production purchased two additional Cinevator Digital Film Printers. The Cinevation digital film printers will be an integral part of Nordisk Film's DI facilities.
S.two has announced the introduction of its i.DOCK docking station, a tool for streamlining the filmmaker's offline and digital dailies delivery process. i.DOCK is a studio edit player with advanced real-time functions for all post-production applications where data meets video. The i.DOCK acts as a fully featured edit player in any edit suite or color-correction system including online and offline with full extended RS422 control.
