Archion Continues to Revolutionize Storage Industry With New Synergy HD Product

Archion, the entertainment industry’s largest storage solution to Avid storage systems, continues to revolutionize the storage industry with the release of their newest product, the certified “Synergy HD.” The announcement was made by Mark Bianchi, CEO, and Reuben Lima, COO, Archion.

Regarding Archion’s new product, Mr. Lima said, “Synergy HD is certified with all versions of Unity from 3.x through 4.2.x without requiring costly software and hardware replacements. Its hardware RAID protection completely eliminates the need for wasteful mirroring of storage for protection. Unlike Synergy HD, MediaArray™ LP requires customers to replace fully operational hardware and software infrastructure. Synergy HD’s unprecedented capability will become the storage of choice, and with a price of $ 19,995 US for 8 terabytes, it’s a no brainer!”

Noting that the “HD” in Synergy HD stands for “High Definition, High Density and High Demand,” Archion’s new “Synergy HD for Unity” product is a full featured SATA II to FC Raid storage unit designed for networking digital video systems in an Avid Unity environment. It is pre-configured in units from 4 TB to 8TB with 2 ports of 2GB FC and is certified with Unity 3.x thru 4.2.x.

In regard to Digital Video Applications, the new Synergy HD product is a full featured SATA II to FC Raid storage unit designed for networking digital video systems. Synergy HD is currently certified for Avid Unity, Media Manager, Interplay, Adrenaline HD, Express Pro HD, Symphony Nitris, Meridian, Symphony and Nitris DS.

This is the backbone of the Archion SAN solution for sharing storage. It comes in units from 4 TB to 8 TB with 2 ports of 2GB FC and is compatible with Windows, Macintosh OS 9 and X, Linux, and most flavors of UNIX.
