MOTU has announced that Digital Performer, its flagship audio workstation software, is now available as a Mac Universal application for Mac OS X v. 10.4 (Tiger). The package now works seamlessly with both Power PC and Intel-based Macs. Digital Performer delivers six virtual instruments (including BassLine, PolySynth and NanoSampler), visual cueing features for film and TV composers, Track Folders, Automatic audio voice allocation and four new audio editing tools to speed up edits. $195 (upgrade from previous version); $395 (upgrade from competing product); $795 (list)
