New 42-inch PPM42M6H and 50-inch PPM50M6H

products, today announced its new 42-inch PPM42M6H and 50-inch PPM50M6H
high definition plasma displays.
Designed for a variety of professional applications, the PPM42M6H and
PPM50M6H are appropriate solutions for education, conference room, and
retail installations. A built-in RS-232C interface allows a single
computer to control multiple displays with the included Multi Display
Control software, increasing ease-of-use and application possibilities.

These displays also utilize Samsung's proprietary DNIeT (Digital Natural
Image enhancement) technology to enhance detail, contrast, 3D motion
quality, and natural colors, making them ideal for video-centric
applications. Advanced 6-way burn-in protection and an extra long life
of over 60,000 hours, help to ensure years of reliable use. Both
displays are available with a black bezel.

The displays feature a number of outstanding specifications, including
an amazing 549.8 billion colors (13-bits processing), 10,000:1 contrast
ratio, 1024×768 (PPM42M6H) and 1366×768 (PPM50M6H) resolution, and
180-degree viewing angles (horizontal / vertical) which allows for
multiple viewers with virtually no degeneration from any angle.

Other features of the PPM42M6H and PPM50M6H include picture-in-picture
and picture-by-picture capabilities, and VESA wall-mount support. In
addition, low power consumption rates mean both displays are Energy Star
compliant and both have been FCC Class B certified.

Estimated street price for the PPM42M6H is $1,699, and the PPM50M6H is
$2,499. The displays are backed by a two-year limited warranty on labor
and parts, with extended service plans available out to a maximum of
five years.
