Mammoth HD recently released cinematographer Adam Sampson’s Alaska collections (including Alaska Pipeline and Glacier Melt), Sondra Brunone’s Miami Aerial Series and J. Micheal Media’s scenic collections (including Crater Lake, Golden Gate, Pacific Coast: California, Pacific Coast: Oregon, Mt. Hood Country, Lighthouse Country and Joshua Tree). The new additions bring the total online collections to 378 titles, ranging from the Amazon and the South Pacific to Bhutan and the Middle East. The company says it plans to also launch a new collection of HD Sports Footage. Prices vary.

Shooting specifically for its TV client base, FootageBank HD just returned from a rambling shoot across North America to capture scenes in Atlantic City, Palm Beach, Seattle, Atlanta and Vancouver, BC. Other recent shoots include one in South Africa where a staff cinematographer captured African locations and wildlife in 25i that was then converted to 24p. Prices vary.

Thought Equity has acquired royalty-free stock footage company Triangle Images, adding 31 unique collections of lifestyle motion imagery in both film and HD formats to the Thought Equity archive. Image-based topics covered by Triangle’s motion imagery include modern business culture, education and learning, and generational living. Thought Equity will continue to build the Triangle Collection with additional royalty-free collections. Thought Equity has also released 17 new royalty-free collections from existing content partners, including National Geographic, Sony Pictures Entertainment, HBO Archives and Warren Miller Entertainment. Artbeats has added new collections to its stock footage library. Ground Rush 3-Southwest is the newest addition to the company’s Ground Rush series that includes clips of painted deserts, mesas and cliffs. Southwest Monument Aerials and Southwest Scenic Aerials feature sweeping aerials of valleys, deserts, lakes, canyons and more.
