Locks Onto Bayonet Mount for a 160-Degree Horizontal Angle of View

For those users of small format HD camcorders who are looking to get an ultrawide field of view not possible with standard issue lenses, Schneider Optics has introduced new versions of the Century Xtreme Fisheye lens. There’s one for just about every compact HD camera, including those from Canon, Panasonic and Sony.
The compact HD lens locks onto the bayonet mount at the front of the camcorder lens for a 160-degree horizontal angle of view (180 degrees diagonally) and easily interfaces with existing 15mm rod systems for added support.
With its unique POV, the Xtreme Fisheye is ideal for sports, music videos, underwater photography or all sorts of shots in tight environments where capturing the field of view is otherwise impossible.
Schneider Optics now offers a Century version designed especially for Panasonic’s AG-HVX200 camcorder (model 0HD-FEWA-HVX), Sony’s HVR-Z1U and HDR-FX1 (model 0HD-FEWA-HDS) HDV camcorders, and will soon offer a model configured for the Canon XL-H1 (0HD-FEWA-XL). Suggested list price for each is $3350.00.
