Just as stock sound-effects libraries have served the needs of audio producers for decades, the high-definition video equivalent is now available to producers on a tight schedule and even tighter budget.

Taste Digital Media, an online company that provides royalty-free video and Powerpoint backgrounds, now has a collection of full-motion-video effects backgrounds for 1080 HD projects.

The video backgrounds are sold in volumes ranging from 10 to 15 segments each, at $49.95. A total of 13 collections are offered within the “HD backgrounds and motion loops” section on the Taste web site. The library covers a variety of styles ranging from water, to metallic, to abstract luminous effects.

All background content is delivered as royalty-free high-definition content in 1920 x 1080 resolution in a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. The 30-frame progressive clips are available in 1:1 Lossless PNG QuickTime .mov format and delivered as files on DVD.

In addition to providing the stock background images, Taste Digital provides 3D animation services for TV spots, network packages, station IDs and short films from concept to production.
