Ellen Von Unwerth, photographer at MOO Studios, steps up to answer Five Questions.
1. What are you working on today?

Between my usual editorial and commercial work, I am preparing exhibitions in Moscow, in Shanghai, and in Tokyo. Very exciting!

2. What have you found is the best tool or innovation that has come out in the last year?

I like my little digital snapshot camera. You can write and paint on the screen…nice toy.

3. The project (film, television, commercial or music video) that most impressed you in the last year? Why?

I just saw the movie Pan's Labyrinth. I really loved it. It was very intense but fresh and new at the same time. Very beautifully filmed, I loved the fairytale creatures and the actors as well.

4. The best or favorite project that you worked on in the past year? And why?

The most fun project was my book “Revenge.” It was my own project; I didn't have to please anybody. I did it almost like a film or a story and chose the people like actors in a movie. Everybody was really into it and it was lots of fun.

5. Name the top 4 artists on your iPod?

I don't have an iPod, but my favourite artists are:
Catpower
Bob Dylan
Yeah yeah yeahs
Lina
