Post Logic Studios, the leading bicoastal independent post-production and digital intermediate (DI) service facility, has brought Alan Lasky on board as the newest member of its Hollywood sales team.
"We are delighted to be bringing Alan on board," said Larry Birstock, CEO, Post Logic Studios. "His deep understanding of the most advanced production, post production and visual effects processes and technologies will be an invaluable asset in supporting our growth strategy."

"Post Logic Studios is at the forefront of post production in Hollywood, and invests heavily in the talent, equipment and R&D to support the most challenging projects," said Lasky. "I have worked extensively with 4K and
digitally acquired material and Post Logic truly understands, and is equipped to accommodate these workflows."

As a Sales Account Executive, Lasky will be responsible for marketing Post Logic Studio's leading-edge post production and DI services to the feature film and television communities. Lasky comes to Post Logic Studios from DALSA Digital Cinema, where as Director of Special Projects he directed the Hollywood-based team for roll-out of Origin, DALSA's high-resolution 4K digital camera.

Lasky's career in Hollywood began in 1984, working as a camera operator for feature film and commercial projects. Lasky's technical expertise enabled him to transition to visual effects work, and he served as Visual Effects Technical Director on various feature film and television projects until 1994, when he joined Silicon Graphics as Manager of its Digital Content Group. In 1997, Lasky joined Panavision, where he led the company's Digital Effects division, bringing 3D set scanning and camera tracking technology to on-set visual effects and motion picture production. Lasky left Panavision in 1999 to oversee the creation of a film trailer digital mastering facility for Studio 6/UBQT Media. In 2003, Lasky served as Chief Technology Officer for Hong Kong-based Lion Digital Pictures, where he was charged with constructing the digital pipeline and workflow for the full-service CGI facility.
