The Decibel Collective, a Dittybase Company, just released its first DVD-ROM collection, containing a 47-CD catalog that’s iTunes-enabled for creatives to use on hard drives or networked audio servers. Dittybase has included 450-plus search terms in the iTunes "Comments" and "Description" fields.

The diverse catalog is aimed at a variety of genre/style needs, including remastered recordings from the 1960s and 70s from Buddy Merrill (Lawrence Welk’s guitarist from 1955 to 1974) and Tom Bruner (Golden Globes music director for 15-plus years, Hawaii Five-0, Shaft). Decibel Collective composers have worked with such recording artists as Linkin Park, Beck, Jay-Z, King Crimson, Sheryl Crow and Korn.
