Over at the American Cinema Editors website, there was a recent blog post about upcoming Iron Man movie and it’s post production with editor Dan Lebental. It’s a great post with some really good technical information on the editing systems, the different set-ups they are using and some of the workflow. This is the kind of stuff that it would be great to see a lot more of on that blog. It is usually updated pretty few and far between and often it is rants against Final Cut Pro. What’s interesting is that Iron Man is actually using a Final Cut Pro system in their workflow … but it isn’t to cut the movie. It also mentions that more will be posted as the post rolls on. I say keep them coming. With pictures!
