With the addition of high-definition clips from around the world, HBO Archives is experiencing new growth. Recent specialty shoots include scenics and time-lapse footage from Austria, Germany, Wales, Denmark and Puerto Rico.
In addition to its new location footage, HBO’s own live boxing events (also shot in HD) are available for licensing. The company is also adding an Entertainment News collection to its existing core collections of Sports, Contemporary, Archival and Wildlife footage. The Entertainment News collection will include celebrity-filled red carpet events, premieres, personal appearances and behind-the-scenes clips featuring the stars of Sex and the City, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and James Brown.
