Sony Vegas Pro 8 coming soon

Scheduled to be unveiled during IBC 2007 in another week, Vegas Pro 8, the latest update to Sony’s professional NLE software is coming soon. The complete suite, including Vegas Pro 8, DVD Architect Pro 4.5, and Dolby Digital AC-3 encoding software promises DV, AVCHD, HDV, SD/HD-SDI, and XDCAM format support, with increased functionality and efficiency. New Vegas features include multicam workflow, 32-bit floating point video processing, ProType titler, and digital signage support.

Vegas Pro 8 includes key enhancements that provide optimised editing solutions for HD, Sony AVCHD, increased playback performance for both audio and video, a robust XDCAM workflow, enhanced titling technology and advanced editing functionality for superior productivity.
