The Visual QuickPro Guide series is a staple in the realm of software tutorial books. Although I haven’t used a Final Cut Pro guide since the FCP 4.5 version, I have fond memories of quickly finding answers to all of my questions in the straightforward and uncluttered reference that was Lisa Brenneis’s book.
With the recent release of Final Cut Pro 6, it’s appropriate that Peachpit have an updated Visual QuickPro Guide waiting for us, and Steve Douglas provides a mini-review of the latest Final Cut Pro 6 reference from Brenneis. Sounds like another guidebook well-written.
Even if you feel like you know your NLE in and out, it’s always nice to have a book to flip through for the occasional troubleshooting.
