Christie has released the LX1500, a 3LCD projector that merges XGA LCDs with a quad-lamp optical illumination system. An extremely bright 15,000 ANSI lumens is generated by the advanced optical engine and a four 330W lamp array. Incorporating long-lasting inorganic LCD panels, the projector delivers a 2000:1 contrast ratio and 10-bit image processing. It features XGA native resolution with scaling for VGA to UXGA, as well as video up to 1080i. $29,995.
