1,000,000 FPS with the Phantom v12

The Phantom v12 is Vision Research’s newly announced high speed camera system that is capable of 1 million frames per second recording at 128×8 resolution, or 6,315 FPS at a more reasonable 1280×800 resolution. The camera boasts shutter speeds as quick as 300 nanoseconds, with 8 and 12-bit pixel depth options, and it records to CineMag memory packs. The camera also features 8 GB of dynamic high speed RAM, with 16 and 32 GB options also available.
