What is cineSync Pro?
cineSync Pro has been developed in response to the needs of VFX, animation, film production, network television and DI facilities – facilities that deal with a large volume of media across multiple locations and which require a level of features not available in existing interactive media review tools.
cineSync Pro excels in 3 major areas: Flexibility, Presentation and high level Interactivity.
Flexibility
cineSync Pro introduces two new features to enhance flexibility ‘ Multisession and Offline Mode.
Multisession allows multiple simultaneous sessions with the one account – for example, a 10 user account can support 5 x 2 user accounts running at the same time.
Offline Mode allows you to set up sessions without being connected to the cineSync server. You now have access to as many offline licenses as online licenses (based on the size of your cineSync Pro account). This means that even if all your external – “online” – cineSync Pro licenses are in use, you can still utilise “offline” licenses to set up sessions prior to reviews. Artists can also use cineSync Pro offline to prepare frames and sequences with markers and annotations for review prior to approvals, without using an online license.
Presentation
cineSync Pro supports full screen presentation, allowing you to run sessions without the usual system GUI in situations where presentation is important. All of the normal cineSync shortcut keys work in full screen mode.
Interactivity
cineSync Pro now allows you to communicate colour information, through some simple colour manipulation tools. You can also compare framing using synchronised masking tools, and examine areas in greater detail using synchronised zoom and pan controls.
Stereoscopy
cineSync Pro also now supports stereoscopic (3D) material. Using Quicktime movies with the left eye and right eye rendered side by side, you can display the left and right on two separate monitors in full screen ‘ or output to a stereo projector. You can also modify the convergence of your Stereo shots, using our synchronised image and drawing depth controls.
