ACE Members Tech Web Discussion: 2007 Equipment Survey Results
The American Cinema Editors recently posted their 2007 equipment survey results. Not surprisingly Final Cut Pro gained market share but Avid still holds the majority of the market. It will also be interesting to see if Avid has gains in next year’s ACE Equipment Survey after delivering updated software and hardware products at a lower price point. Early reports on the new Avid systems are very favorable but only time will tell if they gain back some of that market that Final Cut Pro has taken.
