MacVideo is a UK-based web magazine (I call it a magazine but I guess it’s really just a website) that I recently came across that bills itself as “the ultimate resource for video on the Mac.” I’m not sure how long it has been live (there’s reviews going back to 2006 so I guess for a while) but I’m glad to have it in my RSS feeds. Like most sites of this type there’s a lot of industry press releases posted in and around but the real strength of the site thus far seems to be in its interviews and video posts.
Here’s a few of the videos that I’ve enjoyed watching recently:
An informative interview with Shane Ross about Avid and Final Cut Pro differences and his preferences.
A fantastic 5 part interview with Walter Murch on the history of editing.
The Final Cut Server presentation from the FCP Supermeet at NAB 2008 that I missed.
Topics: Blog editing Post-production
