QuickTime is a major component of Final Cut Pro’s architecture. When QuickTime ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. Jon Chappell of Digital Rebellion offers up this list of recommended configurations of QuickTime and Mac OS X versions for a smooth Final Cut Pro experience.

Remember, this list is subjective, but also based on lots of experience and very useful if you feel that something may not be quite as snappy as you’d like with your Final Cut Pro setup!
