Nina Paley, director of the terrific independent animated feature Sita Sings the Blues (see Film & Video‘s coverage here) is having trouble finding a distributor for her (excellent) film, and can’t afford the various fees that would be required to sell copies of it herself. Now she’s considering giving the film away — and she’s soliciting input on how best to make that happen.
I’m happy to give the film away for free, but I don’t want it to look like crap!
Anybody got any ideas? Take ’em over to Nina’s blog.
