Schneider Optics is introducing the TRU-CUT IR-750 filter, which is designed to eliminate light in the infra-red (IR) spectrum before it reaches a high-definition camera’s sensors. The TRU-CUT removes the IR spectrum from the light path, resulting in more vibrant colors and true black tones from both CCD and CMOS sensors. The filter maintains a high MTF (modulation transfer function) in the visible spectrum and its coating meets or exceeds military standards for durability, making it easily cleaned. TRU-CUT IR-750 filters are available in standard sizes, including: 4×4, 4×5.65, 5×5, 5.65×5.65, 6.6×6.6 rectangular sizes, plus rounds including 138mm, 77mm, 4.5-inch and Series 9. Available now.
