BBC Motion Gallery will be licensing the latest footage of A-List celebrities from next weeks’ much anticipated Oscars ® night ceremony in Los Angeles and uploading them onto its relaunched entertainment website http://www.bbcmotiongallery.com/Customer/Entertainment.aspx . Through its recent representation deal with Lightworks Program Distribution to distribute video content from The Hollywood Reporter Television Show, BBC Motion Gallery will gain instant rights to some of the most sought-after clips of the star-studded event. The Hollywood Reporter is widely regarded to have one of the best positions on the red carpet and access to the stars and BBC Motion Gallery will make these attractive clips available to its customers overnight.

BBC Motion Gallery, which has exclusive access to The Hollywood Reporter’s Television Show footage outside the U.S., will be featuring all of its Oscar ® clips on the new dedicated entertainment section of its website. The site features clips from past to recent red-carpeted events and the pages are a gateway to some of the hottest celebrity footage in entertainment history. The clips have been organised in an easily navigated section, with the choice of categories such as the Brits, the Oscars ®, leading ladies, leading men and royal events and even fashion highlights to help narrow down the search for footage.

As well as this years’ Oscars ®, archive clips of previous award ceremonies are also available such as Grace Kelly with her best actress Oscar ® for her role in The Country Girl at the 1955 ceremony and Humphrey Bogart with his wife Lauren Bacall enjoying a joke with Frank Sinatra.

At this years’ ceremony, Hollywood Reporter crews will be on hand to capture Kate Winslet arrive, hotly tipped to win Best Actress for her roles in Revolutionary Road and The Reader, plus Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both nominated for their respective roles in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Changeling as well as the cast of Best Motion Picture nominee Slumdog Millionaire.
