Bicoastal creative editorial company 89 recently added Editor Michael Bartoli to their roster of talent. Fresh out of the gate Michael recently edited a Comcast spot titled, Lil Bush via Bay area agency DMNA.
Bartoli has earned a number of noteworthy American and foreign awards for his exceptional work in film and commercial editorial which included campaigns for clients such as Samsung, Nissan, McDonald's, Infiniti, ESPN, Dodge, Hilton, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, BMW and Dreyer's. He's successfully collaborated with numerous award-winning directors such as David Shane, Brian Buckley, Brent Thomas, Hank Perlman, and Leslie Dektor.

Bartoli's film efforts include the gory Gangsters which expertly played with the curiosity of human nature and opened the LA Film Festival, and One Night Stand for director Don Rase which won him the award for entertainment at the London International Advertising Awards, received silver at the NY Film Festival, a Gold Leaf Award, and was a Finalist at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

I’ve admired Michael’s work for many years and had the pleasure of working with him a few years back” said Executive Producer Gail Butler. “Michael’s ability to work under the tightest of deadlines yet still deliver the best edit everyone loves is truly a gift. Now, more than ever, so much is on the line for agency creatives and clients, so his wealth of experience is a valuable asset. He’s a master problem solver and goes above and beyond to polish the rough cut with graphics and sound design. And he is just about the funniest individual I’ve met. Clients love him. We love him. It’s a win-win!”

Bartoli comments on his new roost, “Initially it was my rapport with [Executive Producer] Gail Butler that drew my interest to 89. The company being bicoastal is a big plus as many of my clients are from markets other than Los Angeles. I love traveling to edit and the 89 `one company culture’ allows me to cut in any location seamlessly regardless if I start the edit in one city and end up presenting and finishing in another!”

Bartoli is repped on the West Coast by Doug Sherin and Kimberley Griswold of OPTiONS, Janice Harryman in the Mid-west and Samantha Tuttlebee on the East Coast.
