Los Angeles-based creative production and post studio DUCK is bringing the dynamic four-man directing team of nObrain onboard to complement their existing deep roster of talent. The Paris-based collective, composed of Directors Sebastien Fourcault, Nicolas Pasquier, Charles Keramoal, and Sylvain Lefebvre, is known for boundless creativity in merging high-energy animation with live-action footage for TV, music videos, and spot work.
The group’s dynamic portfolio includes commercials for high-profile clients such as Citroen and Renault; music videos for French and U.S. artists; and work for major TV Channels, including TF1, the first French TV channel and MCM, French music TV channel. They color this broad portfolio with a mix of animation techniques, including everything from stop motion to advanced computer-generated graphics.

“When it comes to bringing the worlds of animation and live action together, no one creates that collision like the guys at nObrain,” noted DUCK EP Mark Medernach. “We could not be more excited to have this collection of talent bringing their experience and creativity to DUCK’s studios.”

“DUCK is a multifaceted, continually expanding company, and in many ways that reflects the type of operation that nObrain has become,” stated the nObrain collective. “We feel as though DUCK will deliver a huge number of opportunities without stifling the creative output that has defined our studio since its inception.”

The four nObrain directors met early in their careers, when they worked in post production. They have put out a continuous stream of creative work since they began directing in 2002. NObrain maintains an animation studio in Paris, where new talent is flourishing. The group operates on the main principle that earnings are reinvested into the studio.
