Press Release

Gratis Music, a new digital production music library, is available on hard drives, mSoft, Inc servers and the internet via its website, www.gratismusiclibrary.com. Quickly growing to ten thousand tracks, with no CDs to purchase, Gratis is making its mark within an industry bent on technology and supreme content. Initially the inspiration of filmmaker and entertainment executive, Jerrold W. Lambert, Gratis boasts some 45 contributing composers which include several of the top composers in Hollywood such as it’s two other owners, Richard Band and Harry Manfredini.

Gratis clients include the major studios, networks, and cable producers but also the individual filmmaker. To date, 24 movies have been completely scored using the library. The thematic and filmic nature of the music is easy to edit and is titled and categorized accurately within a mega database of keywords, descriptions and recommendations.

The Gratis Music website is a one-stop shop for all client needs. On-line licensing, rate quotes, cue sheets and training videos make it easy to search and preview Gratis’ vast catalogue and download full bandwidth music files. Another interesting feature of the website is that composers and songwriters can audition by uploading music tracks.

Gratis can also boast to being one of the first American music libraries who’s website is in both English and Spanish and who’s sales team includes a full time Latino representative.

Gratis has recently moved into the international arena and is represented in most countries. Its recent assimilation of the Manpower Music Library and its drive to strike strategic alliances with other music entities will continue to grow the creative content of an already impressive catalogue. The company’s mission is simply to provide the best music possible, at affordable rates and easy licensing, to its clients.
