Company's Speed Balance Feature Lets it Handle as Little as Two Pounds

Sensing a need for a balanced fluid head that can handle cameras weighing more than the 13-pound max load of the FSB 6, Sachtler is introducing the FSB 8 75mm fluid head, with a maximum payload of 20 pounds.
With the company’s Speed Balance system (the “SB” in FSB) for precise, fast counterbalancing, the head can be used with DV and HDV camera packages weighing as little as two pounds.
The FSB 8 offers a 10-step counterbalance and five grades of horizontal and vertical drag, and can be paired with the SOOM tripod system from Sachtler, which can be adjusted from eight inches to eight feet in height. Also supported is the FSB CELL, a 7.2 volt battery that mounts between the camera and the head.
