Today at the NAB press conference Autodesk announce Flare, the software sidecar to the Flame or Inferno motorcycles. Flare can only be used in conjunction with existing Flame or Inferno systems but essentially provides an extra seat, with the same core creative toolsets of the systems, the ability to swap assets and iterations back and forth and, as a software only product, can be taken on the road, all at one-fifth the cost! So now the Flame or Inferno suites do not have to be taken up by some of the more simple tasks and junior and lead artists can work at the same time. More to come…
