Los Angeles-based creative studio DUCK has signed director, art director, designer, and animator Mato Atom for representation in the U.S. The Swiss native brings his distinctive style to DUCK – a dynamic mix of CG, graphics, live action, and imaginative backdrops that position products in unique and interesting worlds.
The New York-based Atom, previously represented by Paranoid/US and Psyop, has worked for clients and brands such as O2, Coca-Cola, Mars, LVMH/Belvedere, Miller, HSBC among others. Print Magazine named him one of design’s rising stars under 30 in their “New Visual Artists 2009” issue.

“We just love Mato’s wonderful, creative work,” said DUCK EP Mark Medernach. “We’ve been tracking his work for some time and feel fortunate to have him as part of our family.”

“I like to challenge myself, experiment and try out new concepts,” the self-taught Mato noted. “That’s why I think I’ll fit in great at DUCK – they’re constantly pushing their talent to experiment with new technologies and boundaries.”
