1. What are you working on today?
Today we are working on a couple pitch ideas, writing two music video treatments, and in production on a couple of broadcast packages.

2. What have you found is the best tool or innovation that has come out in the last year?
Though it’s been out for a while, the RED camera really blossomed into a great tool for us in the last year. Initially there were some
technical hurdles to overcome with the 4k workflow, but all of the
mystery has since been cleared up. On each shoot, we’ve learned a
little more about the camera, its strengths and weaknesses, and how to get the best possible image out of it. We love film and its
definitely our first choice, however the RED has become our camera-of-choice when shooting green screen and has undeniably taken over in the music video industry.

3. The project (film, television, commercial or music video) that most impressed you in the last year? Why?
Not technically a project, the most impressive and inspiring thing of
the last year for us was the 2008 Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing. Epic and mind-blowing in scale and complexity.

4. The best or favorite project that you worked on in the past year? And why?

We directed a trilogy of music videos for recording artist T-Pain that we are very proud of. It was a great experience, working with T-Pain from the beginning to develop a cohesive visual style that would flow across three videos and define the look of his album. We had a lot of creative freedom, fun, and late nights really pushing ourselves to make this project the best it could be.
