Allows Simultaneous Playback and Sync of Video From Multiple Sources
Device control pioneer FutureVideo Products announced the impending release of the newest version of its revolutionary digital video playback and synchronizing solution, Multi-View 2.1 Video Debriefing System.
Multi-View 2.1 is a flexible, easy-to-use software/hardware solution for simultaneous playback and synchronization of pre-recorded digital video media from different sources, such as independent camcorders, DVRs, and VTRs. Unlike traditional editing, Multi-View 2.1 makes it easy and quick to synchronize and output the relevant video content for presentation. Up to 24 digital video windows can be played back together and re-synchronized at any designated point in time. Multiple digital media formats are supported including MPEG-1, MJPEG, MPEG-4, and others-with appropriate decoders installed. In addition, each window may be re-sized, cropped, and positioned anywhere within the workspace. An event log can be created for each video to mark specific interest points within the content. Once the relevant synchronized content has been defined, all the video windows in the project workspace can be output as a single playable AVI video file that can be played back on any Windows PC. This file can be easily imported into any DVD creation software to create an archival copy of the content.
The Multi-View 2.1 system includes FutureVideo’s Media Commander MC-20PRO-MV to provide users with a comfortable tactile control surface incorporating professional jog and shuttle plus Multi-View system task and function controls.
According to Stephen Godfrey, FutureVideo’s Director of Business Development, “Our Multi-View 2.1 Video Debriefing System is the ultimate ‘forensic’ tool for defining the areas of interest in independent camera recordings from different sources shot during a common event. It’s invaluable for performance and behavior evaluation of video content activity. Multi-View supports a wide array of video applications, including security/surveillance, sports, video assist, law enforcement, SWAT & Emergency Response Team training, criminal justice, military intelligence, aerospace, video post-production, geophysical, medical, and process control.”
The Multi-View 2.1 system has a USA suggested list price of $2,595.00. A free demo version is available for prospective users and may be downloaded at: www.futurevideo.com.
