New Software is an All-in-One Data-Management Solution and Color Corrector with On-Set Dailies Production for Digital Cameras

Gamma & Density announced today that its world known 3cP software has been upgraded. The official “unveiling” of the new 3cP version 4 will happen at the HD Expo exhibition in New York on September 17, 2009, at 11:30 a.m.
3cP continues to offer a robust set of tools for film and digital cameras which include data management, color correction, 3D LUT generation, ASC CDL, Academy/ASC LUT and Cinema DNG support, monitor calibration, and communication with post production. Newly added support for the RED Rocket makes 3cP.4 one of the first in the world to offer hardware-accelerated RED dailies, in addition to 3cP’s on-the-set HD color corrected dailies for other file-based cameras. Dailies can be rendered in ProRes and Avid formats, as well as for the Apple iPhone, all with synced audio from production BWF files.

3cP.4 works with data from any file-based camera, including and-with additional codec software-P2, Vision Research RED build 20 .r3d, Phantom high-speed .cine files and Arri D-21 RAW files, and P2, H.264, Canon 5D MkII. 3cP also supports footage from Panasonic, Panavision, Viper and Silicon Imaging digital cameras.
