Smoke & Mirrors New York (SMNY) is proud to announce the addition of Sue Romweber as head of production. The industry veteran is the award-winning producer behind notable campaigns spanning multiple genres, including LG Cars, USTA U.S. Open, Lifesavers Cherry Tree and Snowflake, De Beers The Drive Home, and USA Network Characters, which ran during the 2009 Super Bowl. She has collaborated with renowned directors, including Roman Coppola, and top agencies Y&R, Martin Agency, FCBNY and JWT/NY, among others.
SMNY COO Sean Broughton notes, "I am absolutely thrilled that Sue has chosen to join us. She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge second to none. Her standing and level of trust within the industry is a huge asset to the whole group".

Aside from her extensive portfolio of spots, Romweber is a skilled documentarian. Tales of Times Square, which she produced with Director Paul Stone, earned Best Short Documentary at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, the Tampa Film Festival, the Moondance International Film Festival in Los Angeles, and the NYC Downtown Film Festival, where she also won The Best of the Fest. She is also skilled in radio, having earned a Radio Mercury Award for a campaign she did in conjunction with Draft/FCB.

Prior to joining SMNY in 2009, Romweber spent several years in post-production at various studios, including Filmcore in New York. Her background also includes several years working with agencies, perfectly positioning her to collaborate with Smoke & Mirrors’ worldwide client list.
