Nick Agderian joins as interactive creative director and Nate Poekert will handle production, account management, and digital strategy
Poekert comes to Click with experience in corporate, sports, event, and, most recently, digital/interactive marketing. Prior to joining Click 3X, Poekert served as producer at Deep Focus, working on award-winning sites, integrated, social media and banner campaigns for HBO, AMC, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein and Weight Watchers.
Agderian and Poekert will be a perfect fit for ClickFire, which is on a roll with recent projects, including an online world populated with Halloween costume-wearing hotdogs in a website for Party City, the fusion of Twitter and Google Maps to create a first-of-its-kind branded website, and Facebook application and website for the MTV/Kaiser Family’s Get Yourself Tested campaign encouraging youth to test themselves for STDs.
“We’re really excited to bring Nick and Nate in the fold,” noted Click co-founder and president, Peter Corbett. “It’s important to grow our interactive side harmoniously and these additions are key to that. Nick’s a senior guy who’s extremely steeped in larger brand work and can help us work most effectively with clients and agencies alike so he’s critical as we engage more and more in soup-to-nuts endeavors.”
“I’ve always believed that success stems from constantly challenging a design or idea that everyone else thinks is perfect,” noted Poekert. “I was drawn to Click because they share that philosophy, always questioning what has been done in the past to make something even better.”
“I was really motivated to join ClickFire when I saw their vast resources and ability to create content,” Agderian noted. “I hope to help them develop a reputation as a creative house to complement their content-creation capabilities.”
Aside from his design talents, Agderian is the rare creative who can also handle a camera, direct, and cut footage by hand, among many other skills. He is a master of all kinds of film, design, web, and sound design software, including Final Cut Studio, After Effects, Cinema 4D, various compression systems, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Flash Catalyst, inDesign, Dreamweaver, Reason, Peak, and Soundtrack Pro.
Prior to joining Click, Agderian worked for VML in New York and Kansas City, and Y&R. During this time, he created award-winning national and global integrated campaigns for some of the world’s most visible names. Clients included Burger King, Dr. Pepper, Office Depot Racing, ESPN, Associated Tennis Professionals, Adidas, Xerox, Microsoft, LG, Sprint, AT&T, Accenture, Jagermeister, Guinness, Smirnoff, Crown Royal, Johnny Walker, Gallo Bella Sera, Lincoln-Mercury, Simon Properties, and Fearless Yachts. His wide-ranging work has been recognized by the New York Festival, the Webbies, IAC, a Future Marketing Award, How Design Interactive Annual, the Lester Wunderman Award, the Addies, AIGA, and a Cannes CyberLions Shortlist.
