Rorke Data and FalconStor Partner for SAN at NAB

Rorke Data, an end-to-end storage solutions provider that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Microproducts, today announced at NAB that it has partnered with FalconStor Software, the provider of TOTALLY Open data protection solutions, for a high-performance shared storage solution: HyperDrive.

HyperDrive is purpose-built for the demanding storage requirements of the media and entertainment markets, capable of meeting the storage needs of both the content creation and broadcast aspects. HyperDrive leverages the FalconStor HyperFS file system by aggregating Rorke’s low-cost Galaxy Aurora RAID performance in excess of 6GB/s under a single global namespace – offering higher performance at a lower cost than competing offerings.
