Installs high-end Linux GPU-based DaVinci Resolve system at its Sherman Oaks facility

Milpitas, CA, May 6, 2010 – Blackmagic Design Inc. today announced that Deluxe Digital Media, a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, has purchased and installed the company’s high-end Linux GPU-based DaVinci Resolve system at its Sherman Oaks facility.
Deluxe Digital Media is one of the leaders in providing digital technology to the worldwide film industry. Deluxe provides a wide range of digital workflow solutions from HD telecine dailies to video mastering and is among the top companies offering telecine and digital cinema services.
 
The Resolve will provide the ability to color correct in the 4K environment, and will be added to their existing suite of Resolve 2K systems. Resolve also handles real time grading of raw RED files. The addition of the new Resolve upgrade will allow Deluxe’s Sherman Oaks facility to improve workflow efficiency and productivity between projects working within different resolutions.
