The music download division of Sound Ideas delivers a streamlined blue color scheme with a simplified navigation bar

Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, May 25, 2010. StockMusic.com is a division of the Brian Nimens Corporation which lets customers purchase and download individual royalty free music, production element and sound effects tracks from the Sound Ideas line of professional audio products. StockMusic.com is announcing the addition of new features to its Web site and its new look.
StockMusic.com‘s new look provides a streamlined blue color scheme with a simplified Navigation Bar and larger, easy to read Category Graphics on the Home Page and Sound Effects Search Page. The search result pages take advantage of the larger screen width to display more results with less scrolling.

Brian Nimens, President of both Sound Ideas and StockMusic.com explains the changes: "As we added more and more download content to the site, it became clear that simplifying the experience for our customers was going to be very important. We wanted a mellow look that was easy on the eyes and helped our clients in the search process."

StockMusic.com has expanded its range of music categories to include separate listings for Blues, Jazz, Romantic, Wedding, Rock and Xtreme Rock and has added a new music genre to the site: Military & Patriotic.

In addition, Prepaid Subscriptions are now available to purchase online through PayPal. StockMusic.com subscriptions are available in six different values, offering a 33% saving over individual online purchases. The Prepaid Subscriptions come with no time limit and do not expire. StockMusic.com members have full access to monitor the balance remaining in their subscription accounts.

The new features also include a re-worked Flash Player interface which offers a pause feature and a scroll bar that you can use to fast forward to any part of a music track; to preview the ending, check out the middle or replay the beginning again. For ease of use, two keyboard keys have been enabled to play the next (right arrow) and previous (left arrow) music tracks in a displayed list.
