Digital studio Radium/Reel FX, Santa Monica/Dallas brings on veteran Executive Producer Dan Bryant, who will be based out of their Santa Monica studio.
Bryant comes to Radium/Reel FX after a successful run as a freelance producer for advertising agencies DDB Worldwide, Euro RSCG and GSD&M, and digital studios Blind, Buck, Digital Kitchen, Shilo and Troika. Highlighting his freelance producing career are numerous Super Bowl commercials for Budweiser and Bud Light, including the Budweiser Clydesdale spot “Team,” which was voted the #1 Super Bowl spot of 2008 in the USA Today readers’ poll. Bryant previously served as executive producer for Area 51 Films, The Joneses, Swietlik Editorial (now Cut & Run), and Backyard Productions. At Radium/Reel FX, he’ll oversee all of the studio’s West Coast commercial business.
Says Executive Creative Director Dale Carman, “We couldn’t be happier to have Dan on board. His breadth of experience spans the agency, live-action production, and post production sides of the business; and his longstanding industry contacts make him the ideal fit for Radium/Reel FX and its commitment to being a full-service creative studio.”

Bryant started his career in advertising as an assistant editor at Optimus, Chicago, then as an editor for several prominent Chicago post production companies. After much success as a commercial editor, he transitioned to production to serve as The Story Companies’ executive producer for their Chicago and Dallas offices. In 1997, he headed west to Los Angeles to open Area 51 Films and The Joneses with co-executive producer Mark Thomas. Four years later, Bryant returned to the editorial space when tapped as EP for Swietlik Editorial (now Cut & Run). Bryant joined Backyard Productions in 2002 as their COO and executive producer, helping launch Transistor Studios and Science + Fiction.

Bryant was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a degree from the well-respected Writer’s Workshop at the University of Iowa, where he majored in English and Creative Writing. He currently resides in Long Beach with his wife and family.
