Represents Evolution of mokey, monet, Combined with Planar Tracking Innovations of mocha into All-in-One Master VFX Tool Set

Imagineer Systems today announced it will preview its newest 64-bit VFX workflow solution, mocha Pro, in its stand #13.A36 at IBC 2010 in Amsterdam next week. Leveraging more than 8 years of engineering research and development, mocha Pro delivers all the planar tracking and rotoscoping tools from its award winning mocha, adds compositing tools for match moving, auto image and wire removal, clean plate generation, lens distortion correction and stabilization, to deliver an all-in-one master VFX tool set.
Executives from Imagineer Systems will provide attendees a preview of mocha Pro in a series of technical demonstrations in their stand at IBC 2010 in Amsterdam on September 9, 2010.

“Imagineer Systems is marking a major milestone for the Company here at IBC 2010 with the debut of mocha Pro,” said John-Paul Smith, chief executive officer of Imagineer Systems. “The development of mocha Pro has been an evolutionary process. The industry has changed significantly since we first came on the scene with mokey and monet, and while our customers loved the capabilities, their workflows have changed, become more simplified and streamlined. mocha Pro takes the best of our legacy innovations, combines them with the newest version of our acclaimed planar tracker and delivers an incredibly powerful, affordable and intuitive singular solution that helps them tackle any VFX challenge. We are very excited to see our customers’ reaction when we debut next week at IBC.”

Jake Morrison, VFX supervisor with GOAT Visual Effects is an industry veteran and a rising star in Hollywood’s VFX circles. He’s credited with the VFX work on an impressive list of films, including 300, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Iron Man 2. Jake is a long time mocha user and has been testing mocha Pro for Imagineer as part of its product development process. Jake had this to say about mocha Pro:

“Imagineer has done an amazing job streamlining their product line. Whilst mocha is great for the everyday work, mocha Pro now consolidates their entire extended toolset into one compact package. Even in the early testing stages, mocha Pro felt solid, and the interface is far more intuitive than either mokey or monet. And to top it off, the speed improvements are a little spooky!”

“mocha Pro is the go-to application to have running alongside any A-list compositing package to solve the tricky, that is, the totally impossible problems that you run into. It becomes second nature to immediately turn to mocha Pro to solve problems that you know will otherwise lose you a day of brute force labour. I rely on mocha Pro for guaranteed results.”
