VISLINK News and Entertainment announced today that at IBC 2010 it will launch the latest
addition to its comprehensive and leading range of Link wireless cameras transmitters.
The Link XP1310 is a high performance H.264 compliant High Definition wireless camera transmitter for the news and entertainment market. When combined with the new Lynx Diversity Receiver it offers a cost effective, web browser controlled, rapidly deployable wireless camera solution for both traditional and new media broadcasters.

The new transmitter is field upgradeable with HD-SDI, ASI, IP and composite video inputs as well as dual input SD encoding, and is transmit capable with up to 200mW output. The first product release will include 2 and 7 GHz variants.

“Our unique LMS-T technology gives the XP1310 transmitter a clear edge,” said Product Marketing Manager Laurence Venner. “LMS-T provides class-leading signal integrity and data rates while SCM-Q modulation means that the XP1310 offers better range than comparable systems, and is further enhanced by complying with the DVB-T standard to provide wide ranging compatibility.”
