Digital Jungle, one of Hollywood’s top post-production and digital workflow studios, announced today the appointment of Darin Kuhlmann as Executive Producer and Director of Sales. Kuhlmann, a 20-year veteran of the entertainment industry, will be focused on bringing in new accounts, maximizing current client relations and executive producing projects.
Mr. Kuhlmann has extensive experience in virtually all aspects of post-production. Darin first cut his teeth at 20th Century Fox Studio working his way up from within the company mailroom on the lot and learning the ropes of post before joining entertainment marketing firm, The Cimarron Group, as a Post-Production Supervisor, where he excelled for six years. In 1997 he transferred to trailer house, CMP West where he received a promotion to Director of Post Production. However, it wasn’t long before he was tapped by his former employers to start a new, fledgling post-production house named Picturehead in 2000, which grew under his guidance into one of Hollywood’s top post facilities. In 2007, Kuhlmann left Picturehead and turned to filmmaking, providing his skills as a producer on
The Pitcher and the Pin-Up, Slip, On the Border, Letting Go and an in-production documentary about Bishop Desmond Tutu.
