FEEDTHEWALRUS has signed versatile offline Editor Robert Mead, adding to its collection of top-notch talent from across the post production spectrum. Adept at editing commercials, music videos and films, Mead also has a strong graphics background, making him a perfect fit for FEEDTHEWALRUS.
His extensive work includes spots for LongHorn Steakhouse, MoveOn.org, Quaker Oats, Iams, Sony, Kohl’s, and Lowe’s to name a few, as well as long-form projects for Nike and HP.

He has worked closely with Grey, R/GA, Spark, Charged, Element 79, and Saatchi & Saatchi. A recent collaboration with Grey helped the agency secure the Red Lobster account.

“As we continue to develop our flexible, cooperative model, Rob is exactly the sort of talent that we’re looking for,” stated FEEDTHEWALRUS co-founder Adam Jenkins. “He’s prolific, hard working, and a fantastic guy. Since he’s come on board he’s been working non-stop, and with his wide range of skills, he adds to our versatile business model.”

“I have a tremendous opportunity here at FEEDTHEWALRUS to work with some of the most creative people around,” stated Mead. “Adam (Jenkins) and Jeff (Stevens) are always looking for more efficient ways to get things done and that’s what excites me the most.”

Outside of the advertising realm, Mead has edited videos for Sheryl Crow, Fall Out Boy, and Gym Class Heroes. He also edited Joslyn Barnes’ short film Prana, a part of Orange’s 30-film Telegrammes Visuels expressing its commitment to the environment. The film premiered at the climate summit in Copenhagen and screened at Cannes 2010.
