Double Negative will integrate Shotgun into its in-house project management tools and then start to use it project by project. The studio has recently contributed visual effects for a number of summer tentpoles, including Inception, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Iron Man 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
“We have been watching Shotgun closely for years and found ourselves checking off boxes next to our list of requirements for the ideal production tracking tool,” shared Double Negative CTO David Scott. “It is abundantly clear that the Shotgun team gets production and is building Shotgun for companies like Double Negative. We are looking forward to helping them take it to the next level.”
“We are big fans of Double Negative and the work they do, and are very pleased to have their support,” said Don Parker, Shotgun’s CEO. “We have an aggressive roadmap planned for the coming years and look forward to collaborating with the Dneg team to make sure we hit the mark.”
