Company has received no substantial earthquake damage to any of its offices in Japan and all employees remain safe.

Tokyo, Japan. (March, 2011) ‘ Mutoh of Japan has received no substantial earthquake damage to any of its offices in Japan and all employees remain safe.  
The recent 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami off the Northeastern coast of Japan caused for evacuation of most corporate offices, including Mutoh of Japan.

Presently, all employees and their families have been accounted for and are safe. Limited public transportation has caused for a lack of production at Mutoh’s headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo, factory in Suwa, Nagano and regional office in Northeastern Japan.
 
Due to the limited damage Mutoh’s offices received, production will go back to normal as soon as possible.
 
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the residents of Japan and to the families of the victims,” shares Brian Phipps, General Manager of Mutoh America, Inc. “We are grateful that our colleagues are safe and our offices received limited damage.”
 
Although Mutoh has remained safe, the death toll from the natural disasters has reached over 1,000 people.
