The Former NJ-based Ascent VP of Operations Will Direct Operations at All of PostWorks' New York Facilities
Simon described PostWorks as occupying a unique place in its market and well positioned to capitalize on changes that are reshaping the post production industry. “PostWorks is a very successful company and I want to help broaden that success,” she said. “Having lived and worked in the New York post production community for many years, I know the market well, and I see this as an opportunity to apply all of my skills and experience on behalf of a great company.”
At Ascent Media, Simon headed a division that provided duplication, conversion and media management services to film and television clients. She previously served as the division’s Senior Vice President of Sales. Her background also includes posts as Managing Director of Post Logic, New York, and Co-Managing Director and Partner of Magno International, New York, both post-production facilities.
With regard to her new role, Simon stated that she is excited to be working again in post production and in particular with a company that is its market leader. She added that she was impressed with PostWorks’ commitment to work at the forefront of technology.
