Agency Promotes From Within to Bolster Creative Management Team

Hollywood CA, April 27, 2011 — Buster Design, an award-winning motion graphics and broadcast design studio, has announced the promotion of Hema Mulchandani to Vice President, Design. In her new post, Mulchandani will oversee production of broadcast, branding and advertising projects, lead the robust Buster design team, and develop new business relationships for Buster in broadcast, consumer brand advertising, and gaming.
Mulchandani first joined the creative firm in 2007 as a producer and built her reputation around developing dynamic and effective branding and promotional campaigns for a litany of cable and broadcast clients including TLC, Food Network, HGTV, Current TV, ABC Daytime, and numerous others. She has led a production team that consistently produces award-winning promos for ABC Daytime, including an Emmy-Award winning spot for ABC’s General Hospital. Mulchandani also led the development of the groundbreaking pro-social campaign HGTV’s Change the World in New Orleans featuring Morgan Freeman; the campaign helped rebuild 50 homes in five days.

Jonas Morganstein, Buster’s Executive Producer/ Chief Creative Officer, said, “Hema’s extensive background as a broadcast designer is what made her an outstanding producer and will also make her a potent force in her new role as Buster’s head of design. Her ground-up knowledge of the art connects her to the work like no other leader in the business.”

Prior to entering the broadcast design field, Mulchandani earned her MFA degree from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.
