Zoic Studios announced today that Raoul Bolognini has been promoted to Executive Producer, Feature Films. He previously served as Senior VFX Producer for Features at Zoic Studios and was instrumental in expanding the company’s work in that area. As Executive Producer Bolognini will oversee all feature projects from a strategy and creative execution standpoint.
Raoul’s successful tenure at Zoic Studios includes producing visual effects for numerous feature film titles including: Priest (Screen Gems), Takers (Screen Gems), Devil (Universal), Armored (Screen Gems), Grown Ups (Columbia), Fast and Furious 4 (Universal), Death At A Funeral (Screen Gems), Pineapple Express (Sony) and Zombieland (Sony).

Raoul’s early career was as an assistant director for the BBC working on many high profile television dramas and miniseries. He moved to Los Angeles to join Zoic Studios as part of the Emmy-winning visual effects production team for the beloved Joss Whedon show Firefly and the Emmy-nominated Fox show Drive. From there, he moved into long-form projects via Zoic’s feature film visual effects productions in Los Angeles and Vancouver.

Following a stellar year working on 14 films in 2010, Zoic Studios Features has had a creative and exciting 2011, contributing invisible effects for numerous major motion picture releases including Limitless, Red Riding Hood, Priest and Jumping the Broom. Other upcoming films for which Zoic provided effects creativity include the highly anticipated 30 Minutes or Less and Premium Rush.
