This animation is the ultimate collaboration piece: each element was created by a different artist at NYC’s The STUDIO without knowing what the others were making. The individual pieces were then composited together to create the depth and texture seen here. The STUDIO is currently developing it into an interactive feature.
Mary Nittolo, founder and president, and Gary Giambalvo, executive producer, work with 23 artists – directors, artists, designers, animators, programmers and visual-effects artisans – at The STUDIO’s West 27th Street facility.
